Weekends are made for changed plans. There was to be a barre class, a shoot, then Mould (cheese festival) then high tea for a friend’s birthday.
What occurred was a shoot, then wonderful time with a dear friend before we enjoyed her high tea for her husband, then followed up on Sunday morning at Tea & Niceties Tamborine, with a delightful presentation.
We were a select group of six and what a great time that made for. It’s lovely to have laughter, teasing and all round good times with great people who have a sense of humour and fun.
It was a lovely way to round out the last weekend of the first quarter of this year. It followed a strange week where I thought it was full moon a week before it was due to happen. It has been strange. It was good to blow off steam and enjoy the smell of burning gunpowder on the range – shooting at metal targets. There’s something satisfying about that.
It was also good fun to play with my camera and the macro lens (which covers so much) and take photos as we drive along – leaves the phone camera for dead at times but then they are for quite different purposes and can compliment each other beautifully.
So, here’s cheers with a few brief words from a weekend which saw about 300km covered to see and spend time with good people.
